The Ballet Lubbock School: Tuition & Fees
school

Tuition for Ballet Lubbock classes is the most affordable in Lubbock, but the quality of our instruction is incomparable.

Specific rates depend on the class itself.

Tuition, Fees, and Payment Policies

Tuition

Rates are contingent upon the class(es) in which your student is enrolled. These rates are cited on the 2008-09 Class Schedule. There are three (3) options for paying Ballet Lubbock tuition:

  • Annual: Full tuition is paid before the first day of class. Performance fees must be paid as noted below.
  • Semester: Half tuition is paid before the first day of class in the fall, and again before your first class in January. Performance fees must be paid as noted below.
  • Installments: Ten (10) payments are made from August through May, due by the tenth of each month. Installments are not the same thing as monthly payments. They are installments. Performance fees must be paid as noted below.

Performance Fees: $50 per performance, per student, per class

Regardless of which tuition payment option you choose, performance fees must be paid as follows:

Performance fees for The Nutcracker apply to all students from Levels 1 through the Company.

Performance fees for the School Recital apply to all students and all classes except for students enrolled in Creative Movement. School Recital fees will apply for each student, each class.

Performance fees for Spring Performance are contingent upon the choreography/students involved, hence the later date (Feb. 1) allowed for this particular performance fee.

Late Payment Policies

There is a $15 late fee for all late payments, regardless of your chosen payment option. Late fees will not be waived under any circumstance. Accounts that are 60+ days outstanding will be handed to a collection agency.

Tuition pays for training, not for the right to perform. If you owe outstanding tuition or performance fee(s), then you are revoking your student’s ability to attend class and perform. Remember: tuition pays for training, not for the right to perform.

Tuition and Fees: Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

As the parent or legal guardian, it is your responsibility to notify Ballet Lubbock immediately of discontinued dance studies (e.g. if you move out of the Lubbock area or if your child sustains an injury precluding any physical activity). In circumstances such as these, you are encouraged to notify Ballet Lubbock immediately so that your tuition account can be closed properly.
