Scholarships

A significant component of the Ballet’s mission is to ensure that dance education opportunities are accessible to as many interested students as possible.

Ballet Lubbock offers three scholarship programs for students showing artistic merit and financial need:

School Year Tuition Scholarships

Apply below by Thursday, August 1st by 12:00 pm.

This application is open to new and current Ballet Lubbock students for tuition assistance during the 2019-2020 school year. If you have questions about tuition and scholarships for the school year, please contact our office at 806.785.3090.

External Summer Workshop Assistance

Ballet Lubbock strongly encourages dance students to pursue additional summer workshop opportunities, not just to build upon technique but also for the instruction, friendships, and experience. These summer workshop scholarships reinforce our values while providing qualified students with financial assistance.

Betenbough Homes Summer Workshop Scholarships

Apply to a scholarship to attend the Betenbough Homes Summer Workshop Series at Ballet Lubbock! For more information on schedules and instructors, please visit the Summer Workshop page.

Financial information is only necessary if you are requesting financial need consideration.

If you are apply for financial need, the first page of your most recently available tax return is requested.

Ballet Lubbock is pleased to offer competitive scholarship opportunities to students who wish to pursue summer workshops within our school. To apply, please fill out the form below.

Ballet Lubbock’s Board of Directors has a Scholarship Committee comprised of non-parents that oversee our competitive scholarship process to ensure that decisions are made in the most fair, ethical, and expedient manner.
