Outreach Performances are an integral part of Ballet Lubbock’s season. Tickets are made available for specific performances of both The Nutcracker and the Spring Performance, at no cost to social service agencies throughout West Texas and Eastern New Mexico.

In the past, we have been able to offer tickets to people served by nonprofits like Buckner Children’s Home, Lubbock Regional MHMR, Women’s and Children’s Protective Services, senior centers, and area schools.

Response to these outreach performances is overwhelmingly positive—the theatre is regularly filled to capacity and the energy of the audience is palpable. Grants from both private and government foundations, as well as corporate sponsors, make these accessible performances an ongoing opportunity.
