Laci Ratliff, Ballet Mistress
Laci Ratliff is a 2005 graduate of Ballet Lubbock and recipient of the Gugi Award, a special award given to an outstanding senior wishing to continue dance. She graduated May 2009 from the prestigious University of Utah Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in ballet and a minor in business, where she was also a member of the Utah Ballet Company and Utah Character Dance Ensemble.

In 2008 she was chosen as one of the four character dancers to perform Russian in the Nutcracker with the professional ballet company, Aspen Santa Fe Dance Company. Since graduation, Laci has been a featured guest artist with Ballet Lubbock in their production of Carnival of the Animals, and danced the lead in the 2010 production of The Sleeping Beauty.

Ms. Ratliff has also been hired as the Ballet Lubbock Ballet Mistress where she utilizes her ballet expertise in assisting Artistic Director Yvonne Racz Key with rehearsal and instruction. Laci is the regular ballet instructor for level 4, while assisting as needed for the Company and other classes. Laci also teaches outreach classes for Ballet Lubbock at local community centers.

Debbie Burfield, Costume Mistress
Debbie Burfield, mother of Tammie and Michael, has been creating ballet costumes since 1999. Her skill and imagination has led to making costumes for Lonestar Ballet, Tenisha & Company, and Ballet Lubbock. Debbie has been married for over 25 years and enjoys spending time with her adorable granddaughter Aubrianna.
